Eau Claire, WI - House Fire w/Injuries on Anderson Dr

Eau Claire, WI (September 20, 2024) - One person is hurt after a late-night fire in Eau Claire, per the latest reports released by the authorities.


It happened shortly before midnight on Thursday, September 19, at a home on Anderson Drive, east of the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. In a news release. the Eau Claire Fire Department says when crews arrived, two people inside the home were trying to put out the flames in an upstairs bedroom with a fire extinguisher. Emergency personnel was promptly dispatched on-site to care aid the involved individuals.  At this time, however, the incident is being investigated, and no further details have been released in the interim. Witnesses were asked to contact officials if they had additional information.
