Oak Creek, WI - Victim Hit & Killed By Train on Puetz Rd

Oak Creek, WI (May 10, 2024) – An Amtrak passenger train hit and killed a person in Oak Creek on Wednesday, according to the police.

The victim was discovered by the Oak Creek Police agency after they were called to the scene at around 8:00 p.m. in the 800 block of West Puetz Road, the agency said in a media statement. The person's identification was unknown, but they were pronounced deceased at the site. No further details were disclosed, but an investigation is still ongoing. Witnesses were asked to contact officers with the Oak Creek Police Department if they had additional information.
