Oak Creek, WI (May 10, 2024) – An Amtrak passenger train hit and killed a person in Oak Creek on Wednesday, according to the police.

The victim was discovered by the Oak Creek Police agency after they were called to the scene at around 8:00 p.m. in the 800 block of West Puetz Road, the agency said in a media statement. The person's identification was unknown, but they were pronounced deceased at the site. No further details were disclosed, but an investigation is still ongoing.
