Milwaukee, WI – 11 Hurt in Elevator Break at Amercan Family Field

Milwaukee, WI (June 30, 2024) – Multiple injuries were reported following an escalator malfunction at a Milwaukee Brewers game on Saturday, June 29. The incident occurred as fans were exiting American Family Field following the team's game with the Chicago Cubs.


According to a report, several fans were riding the escalator down when it malfunctioned, resulting in an increased downward speed. A total of 11 injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Six people were treated on site by emergency responders, while five others were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
